Redirecting your RSS feed to Anchor

Once you’ve imported your existing podcast to Anchor (you can do take the initial steps at anchor.fm/switch), you’ll need to redirect your RSS feed so it points to your new Anchor URL.

You should be able to redirect your RSS feed from any existing podcast hosting platform; just copy the new Anchor RSS feed we gave you and paste it into the RSS field in your podcast host’s settings. Here’s a couple examples:

Redirecting your RSS feed from SoundCloud

Log in to SoundCloud, go to the Content tab of your Settings, and paste your Anchor RSS feed into the “Subscriber redirect” text field. Save your changes and that’s it! In most cases, the redirect should work immediately, but it might take some time. If your redirect still isn’t working after about 24 hours, feel free to contact us so we can help troubleshoot.

Redirecting your RSS feed from LibSyn

Log in to your LibSyn account, click on “Destinations” and then select “LibSyn Classic Feed.” Scroll to the bottom and expand the “Advanced Options” section. Paste your Anchor RSS feed into the text field that says “Redirect Feed to this Web Address.” Hit save and that’s it! In most cases, the redirect should work immediately, but it might take some time. If your redirect still isn’t working after about 24 hours, feel free to contact us so we can help troubleshoot.
