Allow me a way of turning on and off the showing of Suggested stations on my Carousel. At times I find the repeated showing of the Suggested list annoying and slowing down my scroll thru my list of Favorite stations on the Carousel. Give me a way to control when I want to see the Suggested list, or put it on another page altogether, such as the Search page as another item in the list of Categorized Stations, or a Tab, or some other UI you find useful. But please do not impose the view of this station in the Carousel.

For now, we’ve made a change which should prevent you from seeing Suggested unless you don’t have active Favorites in your dial. We may revisit this in the future, but don’t have any current plans to turn off Suggested entirely.
I saw something about a photo attachment in another post, but thought adding a background image to a new wave could be a way to increase user engagement and visually represent the wave content. I realize that Anchor is audio-centric, but also know that most podcast/audio on the web has some visual element. A quick (rough) mockup is attached. Just a thought. Cheers :)2 votes
For now, we have no plans to support images in Anchor, but it’s totally possible this may change in the future. We’ll keep you posted!
We have no plans at this time to expose the list of who has favorited your station, but will let you know if/when that changes. Thanks!
Currently on Android 4.4 and I was wondering if the app could extend support for other versions of Android. Thanks1 vote
We’d love to support earlier versions of Android, but unfortunately we’re using several modern APIs and services that don’t support Android that far back – so at this time, we have no immediate plans (or any feasible way) to do so. So sorry for the inconvenience; we’ll definitely let you know if this changes in the near future.
Just like Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud, etc. it would be really nice to be able to NOT broadcast to the whole world, I.E., to have a profile be locked so that only those I want to subscribe can subscribe.3 votes
We may support private profiles in the future, but have no immediate plans to do so. Apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime!
I would love it if Anchor support binaural 3D audio because right now I think the app isn't supporting it after a few tries of uploading binaural 3D audio.3 votes
We have no immediate plans to support stereo sound – it’s a tradeoff for speed and performance, and we’ve found that most people find the latter more important to their experience. However, we’ll keep investigating this and will let you know if we’re able to support this in the future!
It would be great to be able to let people subscribe in ways they're used to, like RSS.4 votes
We don’t have any current plans to provide an RSS feed, but this may change in the future. Feel free to email us if you have further feedback or suggestions about this idea!
At this time, we want to keep Anchor audio first, so we don’t have any current plans to allow visual attachments to waves. This may change in the future, so feel free to get in touch if you have other suggestions or feedback about this idea.
There are certain suggestions that I read that I definitely DO NOT want (like unlimited length for waves) - I think it would be great if we could vote against ideas.1 vote
Hi there! Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the platform we’re using for voting on feature requests – there isn’t a way to downvote ideas. You can, however, feel free to email us your thoughts or leave a comment on a feature if you have a different opinion!
It's great that we have a limit on the wave length, but if only the first wave were unlimited, it would allow us to post an entire podcast, and then have people to comment and interact in 1 minute waves. The 2 minutes limit for the first wave cut the potencial of Wave for deeper ideas and could be solved removing the limite for just the first wave.1 vote
For now, we’re going to stick to the 2 minute limit, but we may revisit this in the future. One thing you could do is link to the full podcast in your caption and record a short wave describing it and opening it up to questions or comments.
Thank you for the feedback!
